Fashion alert! Style icon and little miss of the silver screen Emma Watson has teamed up with ethical fashion label People Tree. Yes, Potter-fans, before she heads off to the lofty heights of higher education, a spell as ‘creative adviser’ has conjured up a brand new eco teen collection launching in February 2010.
Watson says; "I wanted to help produce a younger range because I was excited by the idea of using fashion as a tool to help alleviate poverty and knew it was something I could help make a difference with.”
So what’s Miss Watson come up with? We’ve got a sneaky peeky poster preview… With over 40 pieces for girls and boys including banana fibre slouchy beanies and recycled sweetie paper jewellery to organic jersey Tees and shorts… there’ll be something for every discerning teen wardrobe.
And as if that’s not enough, all royalties from the collection will go towards the People Tree Foundation, which aims to bring the benefits of Fair Trade to an ever greater number of farmers through training, support, environmental initiatives and raising awareness.
Emma-gine that?
