The Big Swap

Grab your skirts, trousers, shoes, bags and belts and brace yourself for some Swishing! Our fave swap shop, BigWardrobe.com plays host to a country-wide live clothes swapping event. Upcoming London event will be at Tiger Tiger in Piccadilly on the 21st January where you’ll unburden yourself of 15 items of clothing (no more but ok if you bring less) and hand you in return a drink and a free shop to remember.

This green and girly giggle takes re-shopping to a whole new level. Try on as many clothes as you brought (two choices, high street and premium – should you have the odd Biba or Gucci hiding at the back of your wardrobe) and  take your new clothes home, that’s it. Simples! A chance for you and your friends to get a whole new wardrobe for nothing, zip, silch, NADA!

In the UK alone, nearly 2m tons of clothing and shoes go to UK landfill sites every year; a trend repeated around the world. Leeds have already had their BIG SWISH with London, Newcastle and Manchester just a few of the cities already lined up to take part. More than 10,000 women are due to swap over 250,000 pre-loved gorgeous garments.

Everything left over at the end of the evening will be donated to Cancer Research. Oh and if you also have anything else to donate (Books, DVD, toys etc) then drop those off at the same time.
